Good spot for Thai food (in a nicer environment/ ambience) but only if you’re in the area. Would recommend the steamed sea bass with lime although it is SPICY (and we’re fairly tolerant to spicy food) despite it being medium spicy on the recommendation of our nice server Roast belly was really good - crispy skin but tender meat with good meat-fat ratio but the highlight was the sauce that came with it - simply amazing concoction of a sauce We tried the plum soup but I’d recommend to skip this as dish portions are generally decent so try another recommended dish instead. We had the tamarind prawn as well which I enjoyed but sauce may be too sweet for some. Restaurant was packed during our visit which made it difficult to get service and attention, spot was mostly for tourists too as we didn’t see any locals but price is reasonable for the food. Would recommend to make advance reservations as tables are limited and there seems to always be a crowd

First visited their shop called Local Canteen many years ago. Back then, it was located right across from Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn a short walk from here. I was totally blown away by the quality of their food. Came back here after COVID and found out that they had moved to this location. Many years had passed. Food is still as good, if not better. Service, too, is commendable. Whenever I feel like having home-cooked Thai food in a nice, comfy environment, this is where I would be.

Great experience. Fair prices and amazing dishes. Make sure to glance at the recommended menu on the wall. Those dishes really stood out among our meal! Also their cocktails were a favorite! We will be back for more!

Came here for dinner, on a Friday night - and the place is packed with both locals and tourists. The food is fantastic, with strong spicy punch for each of the dishes we ordered. We also get the Lychee Shandy, which is good way to cool spiciness of the food. Highly recommended for local Thai cuisine with modern twist.

I waited 30 minutes and tried waving down staff for service and after no success I can not leave five stars, I wanted to leave less but the food and apology made up for it. I told the hostess I couldn’t get service and waited, she was very apologetic and took my drink order, then they got the ball rolling for me. After that we had great appetizers, food and drinks. It’s a nice place too! We had the pork belly and some tasty dishes that the wait staff recommended when we asked them! Thank you! Only suggestion is advise staff to be mindful of people sitting and trying to get attention to order! Don’t make people wait!

not too bad but... where do I start? wanted pork belly, but it was more fat than meat and undercooked. asked for chicken curry, but they only had beef – odd, since chicken’s in their other dishes. and the beef curry? came with just a handful of pieces, and half were too tough. spicy level was on point though. another dish was just okay, but why the raw onions? feels like they’re cutting corners in the kitchen. honestly, you’re better off with street food for some genuine flavor.

Local eat located next to hotel. Delicious food. We made a reservation a few days in advance for lunch. Busy restaurant. Popular with local salarymen and office ladies, and a few tourists like us. Very good. We tried the steamed seabass in lime which was delicious. We had a plum soup which we never tried before, which was delicious. The soup was sour, but too sour. We ordered a la carte for lunch, but they have an extensive lunch menu

The food is very spicy for a western! Watch out… other than that I recommend this place. Good food, if you ask for not spicy! Try the fried pork, it’s very delicious. Happy hour until 7pm
